The short version
- The tools run entirely in your browser. What you paste or type (cron expressions, JWTs, secrets, keys, payloads, text) is never sent to us or anyone else.
- We use Google Analytics to count visits, and set its cookies only if you accept them.
- There are no accounts, and we don't sell your data.
Who we are
Ever Blogs (everblogs.com) publishes free developer tools and a directory of developer services. For anything privacy-related, email contact@everblogs.com.
What the tools do with your input
The Cron Expression Explainer, JWT Decoder, Webhook Payload Inspector and RAG Chunk & Token Calculator process everything locally, in your browser, using JavaScript. Your input isn't uploaded, logged or stored. Signature checks in the JWT Decoder use your browser's built-in Web Crypto API.
One exception is intentional: when you use Copy share link in the Cron Expression Explainer, the expression is placed in the link you copy, and anyone you share it with can see it.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand which pages and tools are used, so we know what to improve.
- Only with your consent. Until you click Accept, Google Analytics sets no cookies and stores no identifiers on your device. Google may receive cookieless signals (such as the fact that a page was loaded) that can't be tied to you across visits.
- What's collected after you accept: the pages you view (without their query strings), the referring site, approximate location (derived from your IP address, which Google Analytics 4 does not log or store), device, browser and screen size, and interactions such as scrolling and clicks on outbound links.
- Cookies:
_gaand_ga_<ID>, which distinguish visitors and sessions for up to 2 years. - Retention: analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics data-retention settings, at most 14 months.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Rejecting deletes the Google Analytics cookies from this site. Google's own practices are described in its privacy policy (opens in a new tab), and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with Google's browser add-on (opens in a new tab).
Stored on your device
Besides the analytics cookies above (only if you accept), the site keeps two small settings in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device:
theme: whether you chose dark mode.consent: your analytics choice and when you made it. We ask again after 12 months.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (opens in a new tab). Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Links to other sites
The directory links to third-party services. Some links may be affiliate or sponsored links, which are labelled. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and may set their own cookies when you visit them.
Your rights
We don't run accounts or keep a database of visitors, so we hold no personal data about you directly. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or UK GDPR), you have rights over data processed about you, including access, deletion and objection. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time with Cookie settings, and contact us for anything else. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
